Religious Trauma & Spirituality

Mental health matters. Join us for an intimate community discussion in a safe, supportive environment where like-minded individuals can explore life after religion, religious trauma, and paths to healing through spiritual connection.

This event aims to provide a nurturing space for those who have experienced religious trauma or are navigating their spiritual journey after leaving organized religion. Together, we'll discuss challenges, share experiences, and explore ways to reconnect with spirituality on your own terms.

Our host, Jordan Pope, a Depth Psychologist and PhD candidate, will guide the conversation, offering insights from both personal and professional perspectives.

Topics may include:

  • Understanding and recognizing religious trauma

  • Coping strategies for life after leaving religion

  • Exploring spirituality outside of traditional religious contexts

  • Building a supportive community of understanding individuals

Whether you're wrestling with your religious past, seeking new spiritual paths, or simply curious about these experiences, all are welcome to join this judgment-free discussion.

Space is limited to ensure an intimate and comfortable atmosphere. We encourage respectful dialogue and mutual support throughout the event.
